What are we going to do:
Have you ever imagined having lunch 230 metres underground, in the heart of a real rock salt mine?
Enjoy an unforgettable experience beneath the city of Loulé, where mining heritage, art, history and gastronomy come together
Your adventure begins with a guided tour of the Saint Barbara Art Collection, dedicated to the patron saint of miners and featuring remarkable works of sacred art.
Then, step back in time and enjoy lunch in a unique underground setting! Gather around long communal tables and savour a meal served in traditional miners’ lunch tins, inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean diet.
